Yesterday was a Very Easter pleasant, for the most part.

unknownbinaries, Rebekah, and I did another brunch picnic in Oakland Cemetery, consisting of three cheeses (Taleggio, Idiazabal, and Peccorino al Ginepro), prosecco-and-Bolthouse-Farms-C-Boost mimosas, rustic Italian bread, smoked salmon, herb de provance-encrusted salami, mangoes, strawberries, blueberries, and Russel Stover Chocolate Coconut nests.

And that was just brunch.

For dinner I made herb encrusted lamb chops (rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, sage, Kosher salt, cracked pepper), pan seared then oven roasted; a reduced sangiovese (Poggio Anima's "Belial") pan sauce; a sautéed mix of minced garlic and diced sweet onions and green peppers; a spring greens salad; and

unknownbinaries made oven roasted skin-on potato wedges, seasoned with salt, pepper, herbs, and pomegranate red wine vinegar.

Yeah. I know.

Dinner was eaten while watching the first two Futurama movies.

We're pretty fantastic.
