Every Step I Take

I always worry that every stop I take toward becoming myself will be that one step too far for someone I love.

Electric Six - [Night Vision]--- Being wholly myself means not being anyone else (though intimately connected to everyone), but that means that, necessarily, the components o f that selfhood will disgust, offend, frighted, upset, someone.

And I sit in near-constant worry that that someone will be someone I really care about.

Trying to reconcile the knowledge and the paradox, today.
