Happy Birthday, unknownbinaries!

Last night we went to the bar to celebrate. Had a great time, much great converstaion (don't go back in time to bring Hitler forward in time to make him play video games to screw with his mind; you'll cause a mass lizard extinction), many drinks. Lots of fun.

At one point I was talking to some random guy at the bar for a bit about how awesome Tom Waits was. Also, our waitress was hitting on me. And some random guy was hitting on Kirsten. Now, I don't note this in anger-- frankly I'm flattered, on both counts-- but rather because she and I were clearly displaying "couple" social cues. Strange when people don't pick up on those.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who came out, last night. Much fun had by all.

eh, some people just like to flirt. in fact some people knowingly flirt with "taken" people so they can be safe.

To be honest, that thought hadn't occured to me, but I can see why that might be. In the case of the young man, however, I don't think that was the case. I think he was new in town,and trying REALLY hard to make new friends. Seemed a nice enough kid.
