Thought of you when I heard about this on the radio.

There is a They, and though They are Us, they are the worst of us, Our most ignoble, violent, rude, callous traits writ large. I really don't think there is a way to make Us become better, They always surface, no matter how pure Our intentions.

it's hard to think of a reason that this had to happen. hopefully it will bring attention to the death penalty but I still can't say that it needed to happen for any reason.
