Birthday Celebrations

Epica - Purushaya--- We went out to the restaurant Léon's, last night, for our friend Lauren's birthday celebration, and also to celebrate Rebekah finally being completely done with her comprehensive exams. A great time was had by all.

Wasn't really feeling up to the evening, at first, and wasn't planning to drink, with money issues over the course of the day being as they were. (The Birthday Massacre - Looking Glass). But, when we got there, they accidentally brought me a ridiculously interesting beverage, and so there it was. The Wired Shut has gin, absinthe, lemon, and some other things, and it's pretty potent. All told, I had about four drinks worth of drinks, over the course of the night, when I wasn't planning on having any. This happened last weekend as well. I like seeing my friends in a state of inebriation. It makes me pretty happy.

Anyway, Lauren and Rebekah both seemed to have a really good time, which was the point, so that's pretty great. unknownbinaries and Bob both seemed to enjoy themselves, as well.

We left there around 2.15, made it home by about 2.30, and got to bed by about 3ish. It was a good night.

Kamelot - The Great Pandemonium--- Been pondering the making of a musical self-portrait. Will be considering this, for a bit.
