Had a good conversation with a friend, last night, re: stagnation and bullshit.

me: I used to have a blanket policy for operations in my life: Fuck it. Delete it. If something or someone isn't working, if a situation is falling apart, if there isn't a salvageable course of action: F.I.D.I.

VoraciousBrain: I am all too familiar

me: Its a crucible an incinerator and a phoenix. And I have been too long out of the habit of successfully wielding it

VoraciousBrain: I think the solution is simple

me: Yes?

VoraciousBrain: Burn the motherfucker to the ground. Jump in the incinerator and enjoy the warmth and float on your back and carry a big stick and mix up all your metaphors. Hah.
