Been in a sneaky hate spiral, for the past day or so. Thought I was well past it, today, but then... I don't know. I had a beer, I guess. Everything is just so easily dragged down to Shit, recently. Anger, hatred, suffering, darkside, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, got home and there was a shit-ton of mail, for me. I'm pretty sure I know who sent the loaded die, the spinning top, & the sticker, but if you're the one who sent me 'The Structure of Magic' from the west coast (or from a dealer on the west coast, at any rate), please do speak up so I can thank you.

These two things went a long way towards brightening my mood, if only because of the sheer confusion. So thank you.

I need to go to bed, before the other part comes back.

I love that the universe talks to me a lot but does it have to speak to me about so many Serious Things at once?

i dunno, sometimes i think these sneaky hate spirals are good for us.

we spend so much of our time being conscious of the way we are affecting others. Every now and then it's healthy to get a little bit selfish and wallow in [insert negative emotion here].

plus - when the sneaky hate spiral wears off, it feels EXTRA good to be alive :P
