Where we going, where we going?

Me and unknownbinaries have arrived safely, back in Atlanta, and I'm trying real hard not to be pissed at myself and the doctor's office, for fucking up my appointment time. See, I thought the appointment was today at 11am and i got a reminder call, yesterday, from Kaiser, to tell me that it was today, at 11am, but, apparently I wrote it down as the 11th at 11am. I didn't notice this, until I got to the office, today, and they told me that my appointment was originally scheduled for tomorrow. At 3pm. Yeah.

So, after I rescheduled my appointment for Tuesday, September 14th, at 3pm, I had a small nervous breakdown borne of 5 hours of sleep after a 15 hour drive (we stopped in DC, to visit my great-aunt, there was massive construction throughout NC, and I took a 15 minute nap, when we got to SC) and incomprehensible frustration, and then I called my mom, let her know what happened, and then went to pay part of my water bill.

I'm still frustrated with myself, for getting this so wrong, but what is, is.

Right now I just have to wonder what this'll mean for tomorrow, at the appointment's original time (3pm), now that I've been detoured around it. Because, if the rest of this past week is any indication, it should be pretty damned interesting.

Gotta go return the rental car. I'll miss it. It's a damn nice car.

Ah well.

Now you just have to ask the Universe For That Car. Convince it that the minor annoyances of it being black (and therefore overly warm) and the stupid mirror angle will be amusing enough to it to merit the gift.

Plus there's all those computer-controlled systems, and what if they go wrong. Think of the headache, for me, with that...
