Heading back to Atlanta, tomorrow, and I need to get up at 8.45am, to move my car, so I'm going to bed.

Visiting my mother was good, but we accidentally locked her out of her house. Brittany's reception was good, but there were many people. Visiting Zakia was good, but she was very tired. We ended up staying an extra night, in DC. Knowing that, I should have gone to visit more family, but ended up staying at my father's house longer, going to visit my grandmother, and then going to The Argonaut, with

oletheros and

crossbonesdj. We got there as they were closing, so we wandered around H Street, which was weird for me, because I grew up there, and it's now a club district. The library that I went in front of the DC City Council to save, when I was 12, (RL Christian) is now an art collective/maker space. So. Yeah.

Getting here, today was weird. Loced out of

unknownbinaries's mom's house, and ended up going to Jersey for lunch, with her dad. Delicious food. Long days, though.

As a final note on the experience of this weekend, I'd just like to remark that "Detour" signs and butterflies have been the most-seen artifacts, on this trip, which fits in, very nicely with the fact that, every day, something has redirected the course of our plans, and made us take a different course of action.
