Yesterday, Projeccts

Spenth the majority of yesterday hanging out with my dad, working on project management techniques and getting some thoughts down on paper (whiteboard, laptop).

Project 002: Mission and Vision Statements underway. Roll-out phase construction is next.

Project 003: Need to develop mission and vision statements. That will be today's project.

Anyway, after that, we went to the bar which was... Okay. I've come to the conclusion that very few people I know are willing to have adventures at the drop of a hat, anymore. This makes me somewhat sad.

Then Jessica bought us shots, and life was tolerable, for a moment longer.

And so on.

Not as much of an update as I thought this was going to be.

I'm quite willing to have impromptu adventures (edited from "inventures," a word I'm surprised not to have heard on GPTV). But I do live up here, and I don't tend to consider a visit to a bar an adventure unless there's also something spiffy going on there.

Bars aren't adventures. Bars are preliminary or ancillary to adventures. :)

I'm wondering if we've become too picky or restricted by society/laziness/legality in what adventures can consist of. Not all necessarily bad things, I don't relish the idea of being arrested, but things to think about.

It's a possibility, but there are always ways around those things.
