Grab the closest book. Not necessarily your fave or the coolest one you own. The one nearest to hand.

- Turn to page 111.
- Find the eleventh complete sentence.
- Post that sentence, and identify the book.

Well this is interesting: "There were no lies, no evasions, no room for anything except the pain and the anger." - from the story "Other People," in Neil Gaiman's Fragile Things.

Interesting, says I, because two days ago I said This, and have been talking about it, since. Funny that that was the 111th page.

Um.

Closest: Neverwinter Nights Player's Guide. On page 111, there are not 11 complete sentences. Closest it comes: "Etherealness: Enemies cannot detect the party until any party member performs a hostile action."
Next: Sudoku - 100 Fun Number Puzzles. On page 111, there are still not 11 sentences. I am shocked to find that there do happen to be words on that page. There are eight sentences, even!
Next, an actual hit, with the third-nearest book: "As we achieve higher states of consciousness, these elevated vibrations have an effect upon the body." - Awakening Your Psychic Powers (An Edgar Cayce Guide) by Henry Reed, PH.D.

That's an interesting set of three books, right there.

nearest and only book at work was the Nook.
so i simply turned it on and it came up with whatever i was currently reading.

remarkably i was only on pg. 114, so paging back wasnt that hard:

"He sank with a deep groan on to the settee, and buried his face in his manacled hands."

from "The Adventure of the Dancing Men" in The Complete Sherlock Holmes: Vol. 2

Yantra: Tantric Symbols of Cosmic Unity, Madhu Khanna.

There aren't eleven sentences, so here's the last: 'Accordingly, fourth, fifth and sixth circuits of the Sri Yantra symbolically illustrate the subtle nerves, and the modification of the vital energy...', and it cuts off there.

I need to read that. I'm looking at individual muscle and nerve control, lately, and I think that's precisely why...
