Faith & the Muse - [Sredni Vashtar]--- So, I need to set up a tandem use for laptop hard drives. Is that possible? Barring that, I need to set the old laptop HD into the desktop, copy the files (and more importantly the file Structure) from there to the portable HD, and from there, back to the new laptop.

Dreamed of an institution (school or mental or both), where I was watching demons and monsters kill people, and I would try to stop them, but no one would believe me, even Principal Snyder who was the head of security for the place. She was stunned, and I told her what it did for him, having her there, and she felt terrible for not being there, before. I told her that what she had been doing was important, and that she was making sure the world would be there, for her son. I told her that I understood what that was like.

Something, after that, about an email conversation between Warren Ellis and Melissa auf der Maur, about her new album. (Clint Mansell - [Pi R Squared]). Something before either of those, about burning CDs. The Power Puff Girls soundtrack, and a huge Tom Waits compilation. Very odd.

Nirvana - [The Man Who Sold the World (Live David Bowie Cover '97)]--- Too much pizza, last night. Stomach feels weird. I'm going to go see what I can do about this, without making it worse. Good morning.

You can go straight from one laptop to the other with a firewire transfer cable. They are about 6$ if you don't have one. Get one of those and look up the instructions for doing file transfers b/t PCs. On Macs, it is called target disk transfer/booting.

You could also just use a flash drive.

Old laptop's dead, remember? The ac cable died, and then the battery ran down, which is why I needed to get a new laptop. So... yeah. Can't turn the old HD on, in the old housing.

Ah, okay. Well, if you cannot buy/borrow a new power cord or battery, you can buy an external HD casing, remove your old HD, and plug that into your new laptop. They work by USB and I bought one at Micro Center for 10$. Not sure if Micro Center or Frye's is closer to you, so check it out.

oh, you tend to get stomach problems often. Are you sure it isn;t just gas? In which case all you need to do is "burp" yopurself by massaging the gas out of your abdomen. Firm, but soft, and slow circular motions. The time it takes varies, but you can tell if it is having any effect by feeling for motion in your abdomen and if any pressure changes with that motion.

Then, if that fails, move on to intake remedies.
