So, I'm kind of sick of the Health Care coverage. I'm sick of the rhetoric, I'm sick of the one-dimensional bullshit, I'm sick of CNN anchors, and people yelling at each other and not really listening to each other and not realising that poor people are poor and rich people deserve to do what they want with their money, but that they each still Exist, and at the same time. I'm sick of the lack of nuance and reasonableness and embracing the complexity of the issue. Sick of it.

Here's the letter I just sent to the White House:

Dear President Obama:

I have little hopes that this will actually reach your desk, but I find that, in the case of the health care debate, there is a position which finds itself woefully under-represented and not discussed.

There are people, in this country, who make exactly enough money to keep a roof over their heads and food on their tables, and not one cent more. Many of these people are young, it's true, but they do not believe themselves to be "invincible." They are simply, and sadly, Too Poor To Afford Health Insurance, and they are Most Assuredly too poor to afford a Fine levied against them for not having that which they cannot afford. As this is the case, fining these people, as Sen. Baucus and others suggest, is nothing short of punishing people for being poor. How, in the final accounting, does this help Anyone to be more healthy?

I ask you, please recognise that some people are too poor to have any health insurance not covered by a public option, and that, if our stated goals are our true goals and we want every American to be affordably insured and healthy, then this is not the way to go about it.

Thank you for your time.

I expect nothing but a form letter, in return, but I had to send something. I also sent some messages, on Twitter, to CNN anchors, but I expect that to do almost less than nothing. Bullshit CNN. Bullshit "dialog."

Time to get to work.
