This was going to be attached to the last one, but I wanted them to have some space.

First, a big hello to (In alphabetical order): [livejournal.com profile] algernon33, [livejournal.com profile] crossbonesdj, and [livejournal.com profile] willowbl00. Make them feel welcome; this is a strange land...

In other, connected news, my mind is all over, lately. Magic, computers, presentations on magic, dreams, Unbutu installations, all kinds of shit. Brings to mind a question I meant to ask (and may have asked, but gotten no response): What do you find of most use, here? I talk about a wide swath of things, in this space: magic, politics, science, art, literature, sociology, psychology-- all kinds of shit.

What do you always read, rather than skimming? If I were to create Weird Shit, Dreams, Politics, Sociology, Psychology, Tech, Fiction, Monkeys filters, which ones would you want in on? By the way? No, I'm not making filters, but I'm not ruling out the use of key words in subject titles to make people's lives a little easier.

I'm going to try to catch what I've missed of your posts, so far, in my laptoplessness, but it's 150 entries back, all ready, and I do have to eat, shower, and go to work.

The creek behind our place is a river, now, and a tree just lost root and fell over into it.

Wow.

All of the above. I want your tasty brainmeats.

If it makes any difference, I think I've responded to everything which called for a response (to the best of my recollection, pardon the copout phrase), whether it be a specific request on your part, shared thoughts, or information I thought you could use. The ones that trigger the middle one most often are Weird Shit, Sociology, Psychology, and Monkeys.

It's not so much that I get anything from a specific topic, but I enjoy the freedom with which you write. I do tend to skim sometimes, but only when I disagree with you and you are simply repeating a point. I also skim when you start rambling about topics you have covered before, but I missed them. No point in me reading it now if I can't go back and catch up.

Which might be possible if someone would learn how to use tags. You know like everyone else who is decent.

Most most useful/interesting to me: Magic, Comics, topics related to those.

I find it interesting that your dreams aren't all nightmares. I'm starting to think I'm in the minority on that one.
