Every Day is Honesty Day

Or, you know, when you remember and can.

Politics makes me sad, and angry, and that is not the best place from which to communicate. I need to perfect the art of meditating while talking. Of being in the Present Moment, both engaged and detached, and speaking calmly, from there.

It's hard to do.

Remember that Honesty Day isn't about trying to be hurtful, unless that's the thing about which you're being honest. Then you say, "I'm going to be hurtful, because I've honestly wanted to do this, for a while," or something of the sort. Let some light into your thoughts and motivations. Were you honest with someone, yesterday? Will you be honest, today?

Honestly? There are times I CANNOT be honest with my parents, and they hurt.

I do my level best to be honest with everyone else.
