You post links to the people who linked you, but not directly to needcoffee?
Or was I supposed to drag (or - gasp - type) the address into the address bar all by myself?

Good on ya, mate.

Picked up Kabbalah: New Perspectives (Moshe Idel) and The Art of Warfare (Sun Tzu) at the library. For some reason, I could hear Will Smith saying "This girl's about to start some shit, Zed!" as I headed to the checkout counter; can't imagine what that's about.

I actually didn't intend to check them out in conjunction; rather, I was getting Art of War to study so that I could make the board game Sun Tzu's The Art of Baby Racing. And then I saw the Kabbalah on the way out and thought, "Hey, I want to read that. And this is a Library."

Nice combination. And yeah, I meant to link that directly. Thanks for the heads-up.

One could easily throw an "inter" onto the front of the term "locked in combat." Your enemy, in his intent to act in readiness in your weak moments, becomes more responsive to you, more attuned to you, than he would be were he your ally.
Factoid from New Perspectives: We have the Kabbalistic mystics (like, the more fringe ones who formed sects instead of temples, because their traditions were too risky for the common practitioner) to thank for use of the word 'Amen.

These two were just the books' introductions. Main course starts today.

Yeah, I'll have to pick up those versions.

Well, if you're going to be pickled from the Inside, I'd recommend something a little tastier, than that...
