David Bowie – [Bring Me The Disco King (Loner Mix)]--- I think I've started to live at that crux of the moment of revelation and vulnerability, that artful exposition and the peeling back oof layers you don't let others see.

I get a little High off your honesty, honestly.

My heart goes all a-flutter when you tell me things you've never told anyone else, when you tell me something abot the intersection of you and me, my stomach turns to Regal Flapping. Kingdom-sized.

And when I show you the parts of me I've shown everyone else, what does it mean? What generalities can I give you that I haven't given to a hundred others?

Damon Albarn & Micheal Hyman – [Boyd's Journey]--- It feels so One-Sided, when I ask, but you don't ask. There is nothing about me, alone, that isn't known by someone else.

Only in the crux of me and you, vulnerable and guarded, tug-of-war, is anything interesting, anything Secret to be found. (Muse – [House Of The Rising Sun]). But, to me, every new facet, every angle and curve, it's a better hit than the last.

The interface of Us is only the longest-lasting High.

"Harvey and I sit in the bars... have a drink or two... play the juke box. And soon the faces of all the other people they turn toward mine and they smile. And they're saying, "We don't know your name, mister, but you're a very nice fella." Harvey and I warm ourselves in all these golden moments. We've entered as strangers - soon we have friends. And they come over... and they sit with us... and they drink with us... and they talk to us. They tell about the big terrible things they've done and the big wonderful things they'll do. Their hopes, and their regrets, and their loves, and their hates. All very large, because nobody ever brings anything small into a bar. And then I introduce them to Harvey... and he's bigger and grander than anything they offer me. And when they leave, they leave impressed. The same people seldom come back; but that's envy, my dear. There's a little bit of envy in the best of us."

I hit the post button too soon...

It was the "Harvey and I warm ourselves in all these golden moments" that reminded me of your "The interface of Us is only the longest-lasting High".

I think both are great sentiments.
