You know, since you mentioned being interested in knowing when you appeared in other people's dreams you've appeared in mine twice. However, the most interesting pattern to me is that you will appear in a dream of mine, I will wake up enough to realize I was dreaming, and I will then go to sleep and dream about telling you about my dream.
These newer dreams are distinctly different from the last one. In that one, you and mech_angel were actually more central to the plot of the dream that the character that I was portraying (I'm often not "me" in my dreams). You tend to appear when a character in the dream is either a) going to do something that will change the paradigm of the world or b) research something that has the potential to change something substantial about the world. And the justification for you presence has been the same both times. "Hey Damien, you're going to want to be there for this." So if I ever do encounter a giant wish granting dolphin, I'll do my best to get in touch with you before making a wish that changes the fabric of reality. Assuming of course that I don't just run into you on Ponce while walking back to the Aquarium. And that you aren't a cat at the time.
