So, I'm an idiot. Remember that thing I told you about, with the book that was pretty much about my thesis topic? Yeah, turns out I forgot about the paper proposal, due at the start of this month.

Woops.

I sent a submission, anyway, and an explanation or my mistake. The reply:

"Hello Damien,

"Unfortunately, we simply have too many submissions and won't have room for everything as it is. Sorry about that -
all the best
[REDACTED]"

Yep. Idiot.
