Things started poorly. With Ice, all over the southern stretch of PA. Got a lot better.

Doing pretty good, now. Family's good. Food's good. Got season one of Burn Notice. All good.

Burn Notice was a'ight. To be totally honest, I only continued watching it because I'm from Miami.

Like, the show starts out pretty good, but the more depth the show develops, the more the faults in it become apparent.

I like the show for the characters and the Helpful Hints. Second Season direction went a little afield, for the characters, but I think they got it back, toward the end.

I like those things, too, but the problem is that by limiting the show to Miami, they've really stifled the creativity of the show.

I was really expecting them, at some point, to leave Miami behind and expand out into the world at large, broadening the scope of the show. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened, and I feel that the show has suffered for it. That was really when I got tired of it, for much the same reason as Harry Potter. It had the potential to become more than it was, and it turned it down.

It looks like the next season will be expanding outward, in that regard.
