A little background: These poems were written on strips of paper that i tore from a larger strip, to make a bookmark/To Do list. The first poems was on a piece that was only six lines long. The Haiku were written on a thin piece, and the margin with the Holes. Try and figure out which ones were influenced by having to flow around the holes. The last was the other margin, and not as thin. The line was running directly down its centre. Here we go.

1:

Winds,
Blossoms.
For our Love,
Industrial,
Technological,
In effect with our Dreams.

2:

Be marked in absence
Holes in the fabric of me
We wait in silence.

Detached in essence
Apart from the life in mind
Understanding fails.

Bathed in Compassion
Eyeing a glittering Hope
Words, our Father, Lies.

Emptiness blocks us
We struggle around the Void
Form in Emptiness

A plane of our Choice
Learning Lessons as the Fall
Maddened laughter Reigns.

Pity and despair
A Worldly challenge rises
And you must Decide.

A direct affront
Seraphim Scream from on High
We all sing a price.

A feeling of loss
With the growth that comes from pain
Those Fallen still Here.

3:

On Being Divided

A regaled system lapses,
the operator falling asleep
at the switch.
The components, left to their own
devices,
are uncertain as to how they might
proceed.
Should they band together?
Must the fly apart?
Groggy, as if waking from a
particularly disassociative dream,
they build their Kingdoms,
focussing on what they happen
to Know.
Allegiances and wars,
with equal passion,
are engaged with the capriciousness
of the newly young.
And eventually, down and up
the same road,
a piece of a piece
(which is to say The All)
had this to say:
"Things taken together
are whole and not whole...
being brought together
and brought apart,
in tune and out of tune;
out of all things comes unity,
and out of unity all things."

That last quote, in the last poem, is Heraclitus. Enjoy.

I need to go, really. I'll talk to you all, later.

Ta ta.

These are wonderful. Will you be making a book of your work?
