Synchronicity is a weird thing. When it works really well, you don't have to do anything. It's all the work you've done and all the energy you've put into the system coming together. And the wheels turn, and everything falls into place.
But when it stops working, you can see the way things are supposed to connect, but you can't do anything about it. You can't get it to line up, you can't make it work. All you can do is follow the connections and the keep putting energy into it. Eventually, it'll either Click again, or you find the broken thing, the out-of-alignment thing and you replace it.
Synchronicity takes control out of your hands, because you've already put all the things that You can do into the system. All you can do, when it's clicking along, is keep moving, and click with it. Know the rhythm and Pay Attention, and keep moving with it...
Because, when it stops clicking so quickly, when the machine stutters, you're going to have to match your step, or you are going to fall, and maybe get crushed, a bit, and passed by.
I say this, only because I think this is where I've been the past week or so. Got things going really well, the preceding month, and now everything is slow, again. Gathering. Reserving.
And I Am Impatient.
But I have to do the work. I have to out the energy in.
And today, I have to sell people coffee.

Date: 2008-11-26 04:04 am (UTC)I'm totally there with the lining things up; with printing cards, setting the sheets up in a particular order, stacking them such that I'll remember in which order to put them back into The Machine so their backs match their fronts, having things come out smoothly...
occasionally cursing and tearing The Machine open when a sliver of paper, less than a square inch, gums up the works...
Good Times.
