Josh Lyman for Chief of Staff, Part 2
Nov. 7th, 2008 12:06 amFor those wondering, people are strange about Emmanuel because he's Fiercely partisan, and damn near the Definition of "Washington Insider." On the other hand, Obama can easily deflect this by saying, "I know what I don't know and Rahm can help me, in these areas, such as inter-branch diplomacy."
For my part, I think Rahm Emmanuel will be there to throw the elbows and knees, so Obama doesn't have to. He's the one to say, "My boss wants to work with you. And so do I. So don't make me FUCKING cut you."
You know he once sent a dead fish to a guy, right? That's fucking Metal, Ninja, AND Gangster.
My prediction: In the face of the Democratic majority in Congress, expect to see Emmanuel cutting back on the partisan rhetoric and increasing pressure up on the Hill.
