Hipsterism, Emo, and Failed Love

Now. Hipsters and Emos approach every aspect of their lives as glorified children; without responsibility, with no communication skills, no accountability.
And then they write most of their songs about how, shockingly, their love lives suck and everything fails.
Isn't it a little possible that there's a connection, there?
