There are at least three copies of The Lesser Key of Solomon, in my house, at present, one of which is in German and one of which has been translated from Dutch into English.

So, I'm reading this infamous magical text, and I'm going through each number and name, and I can't help but think about all the shit I was into in high school and early college; the traditional things, like money,power, naked women-- all of the usual things a young adult wants. Every debaucherous thing that people apparently wanted Demons/Fallen Angels/Deposed Gods to do, for them, for hundreds if not thousands of years.

And Then I'm reminded of one particular scene in Alan Moore's Promethea.

"I've done that. I Accept you... I own you."

Except I seem to maybe be moving backwards, relative to the "standard" way through this...

I forgot about your German one!

TECHNICALLY, we have two and a half. I don't think we have, en totale an entire actual copy, but several different versions of the Lesser, and two copies of Mathers' Greater.

And if you're going backwards, I'm kind of just wandering aimlessly back and forth going 'Oooh, neat!'
