Even if I did dream, last night, about a conflation of schools and prisons and movie theaters. I ended up having to escape, undercover, with a convict, to gain his trust.
Had some pages from a long-dead SF writer's famously schizophrenic book, as he was changing the schism, at the end, that caused people to dislike his work. He had ripped them out and given them to his assistant, and his assistant came to the basement to tell me about the attempt to make it better. I asked the assistant for the pages, as I knew they would be worth a great deal of money. I got them, no problem, and recognise the occult significance in them, as well...
