Recursive Synchronicity
Sep. 21st, 2008 09:12 pmLast night I talked to Dustin about-- among other things-- Alan Moore, and Synchronicity, and John Constantine.
This afternoon, I wrote that post that you may or may not have seen.
I tooksome CDs to work, for the listening.
This evening, at work, I met four people who were talking about R Thomas, and whether they should go there. Then they were talking about MC Frontalot. The guy who was talking to them about The Front only owns one of The Front's albums: Secrets From The Future.
That was one of the five CDs I took with me, to work, today, and I chose it on a whim. We talked about this.
My last customer interaction of the evening was with a regular, named Tracy. We were talking about the David Bowie I'd put into the CD player (1. Outside), and when I'd told her about the very strange plot of the album, she told me about Brimstone & Treacle, staring Sting.
On whom Alan Moore based the Synchronicity Riding John Constantine.
Some days, things work out, just right.
