Immortal Technique - [The 3rd World]--- Who are you?

What do you do?

What do you want to do?

What made yoou happy, this week?

What made you cry this week?

Tell me a story.

Tell me something I don't know, about you.

This isn't a meme. I just want to know.

http://wolven.livejournal.com/1411771.html

If you have something to say, about that, feel free. I'd love to continue growing this networking project.

Tell me things, if you please.

I'd love to hear from you.

-Currently, I work in a warehouse that manufactures and distributes video games.
-I want to be a teacher, I've settled on college professor due to the freedom that you have when you work with "adults". I haven't chosen my field but generally something in the liberal arts area.
- first impressions of autumn and baking a crap ton of pies today.
-my body reminding me it hates me for not giving it babies.
- I haven't actually got a story, nor have I written anything in a while... so here's something old but very dear to me: untitled
-I use to play the piano, I use to play really well. That is, until one day I couldn't control my anger and suffered a terrible accident. Long story short I cut all of the tendons, nerves, and muscles in my right hand. I had completely relearn how to use that hand but unfortunately permanent damages were made and I lost the mobility and speed it requires to play anything advanced. Now, since it's been so long the only thing I am able [and can remember how to play] are the first few chords of fur elise.

Last but not least...

did you know michael jackson wrote the music for sonic the hedgehog 3? The end song is "stranger in moscow". They took his name off of it [and rewrote some of the songs] because he started getting into trouble around the time it was about to release. But if you look at the credits- his production team is still credited.

That last thing, I remember hearing somewhere, before. I used to be big into video games, and remember people going nuts, about that, briefly.

Thank you for letting us know you a little better, today. I'd like to hear those opening lines, some time.

And just remember, if you gave in to the demands of your body, terrorist of cellular structure that it is, it would only hurt you Far Worse, later down the line.

Rhonda or Pea

I manage a boutique, I'm also the property manager for 4 different apartment buildings.

Teaching or nursing

Being able to get home in time to cook dinner for my family

My father's dog of 14 years had to be put to sleep.

I'd tell you a story, but that might take more space than a comment would allow.
There was a girl, she grew up, she committed a crime, she went to prison. Now she is rebuilding her life.

You don't know me, so anything I say will be new to you. I don't know how to tie my shoes the loop, swoop and pull way.

I"m 4'10. I have 3 children. I have given birth to 4. The last child, my cousin adopted. I like being short. I love the color of my eyes. Budgeting is hard.

What do you do?

For a job I work at the airport store location of Powell's Books. (It's the largest independent book store in the world) I do in store computer support, run the art and science sections as well as a handful of other things. Very soon I will be a union steward for the location as well.

What I do in a more life work sense is write. I've been published in several magazines and in two anthologies. I write for foolishpeople.com the website of The Foolish People who are for my money the most exciting and important thing going on in art today. I also poorly maintain chaoscurrent.com and have started a new site (www.flowerofkairos.com) which explores time magick and hyperdimensional weirdness via literature and visual arts rather than a series of how to style essays.

I'm finishing up my first novel, or more accurately finishing up a version I'd feel comfortable showing to publishers.

What do you want to do?

As much as possible. Traveling, and making a living as a writer are at the top of the list. I'm also really looking forward to future collaborations with The Foolish People. Possibly at some point build a worker/artist owned publishing company.

What made yoou happy, this week?

Visiting Kalaloch.

What made you cry this week?

I haven't cried this week, but finding out someone I knew and liked very much while I was living in VA had a massive stroke and was being taken off life support yesterday made me very sad.

Tell me a story.

http://sammaelhain.livejournal.com/210361.html

If you've read that one before I'll write a new one in my lj, or think of a very short one to tell here.

Tell me something I don't know, about you.

I was seventeen the second time I ever broke my nose. I was using a coffee table to hold the two hundred pounds I was bench pressing. The bar rolled off and came down across the bridge of my nose. I'm lucky it didn't hit my throat. I've never bench pressed alone or with faulty equipment since that day.

Tell me things, if you please.

This (http://forgetomori.com/2008/science/hit-by-a-particle-accelerator-beam/) story about a guy who survived being hit in the head by a particle accelerator beam is pretty fucking interesting. Someone on my friends list linked to it the other day.

What do you do? herd children and things that pertain to herding children

What do you want to do? herd children and go to college

What made you happy, this week? finishing the first diaper I think is worthy of selling

What made you cry this week? Hearing the song "In a House, In a Home..." which is the song about family on a children's show called "Signing Times" (teaching kids sign language) something about seeing all those people loving on their family members while signing the names just chokes me up something awful

Tell me a story. I asked Lil Miss what she wanted, she signed "more, more" and I said "yes, you want more, but more WHAT?" then she signed "Cooky" So I gave her a cooky. Things like that also make me cry sometimes. The End.

1.) What do you do?
Work for AT&T being a phone monkey

2.) What do you want to do?
Want to have a happy life with someone, so the specifics aren't important. But mostly the usual- crafting, cooking, brewing- and being able to do that without stress.

3.) What made you happy, this week?
That I *FINALLY* got my freaking internet at my house

4.) What made you cry this week?
Wes

5.) Tell me a story.
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, and she.... wait. She lived in a shoe? So instead of spraying for bugs, did she have to spray for athlete's foot instead?

6.) Tell me something I don't know, about you.
I want to go back to college for something IT/Computers related. Maybe Computer Engineering or IT Systems Management

'Cause I'm bored. I make art, talk to invisible things and, apparently, get bored very easily.

Make art for far more money than I do. Go hangliding again. Go to the aquarium and draw the critters. Be able to write again. Live somewhere colder. Get more tattoos. Maybe get dreads. Learn a martial art.

The onset of autumn. Money out of nowhere. Figuring out what the difference between artwork of my own that turns out good, and that which I end up loving. It has to do with trying too hard.

Watching the eps. of Buffy where her mother died.

'...and then everyone woke up.'

I honestly don't know that there is anything you don't know...?

Crissy. I do not have clever nicknames.

I sell you vitamins. I also, read, write, attempt to tame two insane dogs, and sleep until noon when not provoked into being awake before then.

I want to hide in a villa/cotage in a nondescript european country and write until my eyes bleed.

Hands.

I haven't cried this week, yes.

I was going to write something, but I've decided to put it on my journal and work on it later. I think I will go write smut now. :D

I secretly think you're a nosy bitch. ;D

This isn't a meme. I just want to know.

I am. Of all people, I think only [livejournal.com profile] karishi knows who I am more. You know who I am.

I live, connect, play, dance, and skulk.

I want to love madly, race, break through, prosper, and continue all of the above.

Last week - singing bawdy songs at Piratepalooza unquestionably made me happy. I'll skip the "only you can make you do anything" shortcut.

I don't think I cried last week, but the episode "Strangers in the House" from My So Called Life probably brought me close. It's excellent, but emotionally exhausting.

A story? ... very well. Check out my latest post.
