Art Dreams
Sep. 20th, 2008 12:05 pmI dreamed about making little sculptures for
greygirlbeast. They were a little mouse director, a tiny crouching ninja, and a skull and cross-bones the bones of which acted as legs. I was trying to find all of the pieces and products I needed to finsih it, in a certain time. We were all in an office building, for some reason.
In a diner, sitting watching. A view through a Camcorder as Kari Byron walks in, with a group and starts talking to two goth/punk girls in a booth, telling them about her new book of photography, put out by or in conjunction with Suicide Girls. The girls are interested, amused, confused by the hand-held recorder; shouldn't there be a bigger crew? As she went to the bathroom, or the backroom
Amanda Palmer came out of the kitchen, talking about her new CD. there was some kind of bare rivalry between her and some other tall, arty brunette. I kept thinking that they should put their differences aside, and work together, much like Lucy and Ethel did, in the chocolate episode, to work the factory line.
I woke up thinking of... disturbing vengeances. What an interesting way to wake up. Thoughts of revenge. And not even for me. I kind of hate revenge, to be honest. Swift retribution or metered justice are more my style. Clearly, some conversations need to be had.
I've had "Sober" stuck in my head, since day before yesterday. I don't particularly mind.
I'll have something to ask you, later. For now, prepare thyself.
