"...and I'll be back, some lucky day..."
Sep. 18th, 2008 10:41 amSo I'm dreaming in cross-listing, now. Seeing people, online, last night, whose presences I'd not seen together, since Dragon*Con, dreamed about them, in the same place, a warehouse that was a fishery and a convention. Artists and creators and musicians, eating fresh-cooked food in the semi-out doors. Had to drive down a street that was a down-sloping driveway, around a corner, and the back of this castle was larger than the back of the castle. Warehouse, music, artists, food. Strange.
My father sent me the following in an e-mail, this morning:
"Perplexity is the beginning of knowledge." - Kahlil Gibran
And the thing I keep meaning to tell you, but forgetting, is the motto of the coffee shop at which I now work, the motto plastered on everything from the walls to the cups to the tables:
"Facilitate A Strategic Awakening."
I think I work at the right place, for now, don't you?
