Never occurred to me to discuss with the 'world' outside of LJ, my personal friends, or a 'safe' crowd the idea of magic as philosophy, of magic as reality, of magic as a tool, a conduit, a conversation, a thing to touch and have and hold and use.

Never occurred to me to be open about the beliefs I hold that are probably still listed in the DSM-V as 'delusional' because they rely on the idea of altering what the masses perceive as 'reality' and 'fact'.

I thank you for it; it gives me a little more strength to believe, to work my will, to hope for miracles and deal in magic in a way that is not full of hats and rabbits, chicanery and/or the kind of new-age-y people that need to hug crystals.
