I dreamed of a combination of Half-Life2 (fighting headcrabs), Buffy (just in terms of the people who were there), and The Invisibles. Ragged Robin was some kind of mentor to me, leading me through hypnotism regression and preparation exercises, so that I could resist brain-washing techniques.

The area was a house that was/was connected to a hotel which was also some kinid of living technological artefact, done in gunmetal and gold tones. Not the actual colours, just the feeling of the colours.

Having to trick gangsters, the leader of whom was played by Dean Stockwell, as they talked to Bob about somemthing. I had to find the heroin and needle, and get it out of the room, to give to the Agents, and get out.

Something, in the beginning, about Spider-Man posing as some other hero, and the similarity between Spider-Man and Gambit.

Strange.

It's due to my quite probably dangerous obsession with Love of of Leaves (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Leaves).

It's a very powerful book... Very affecting. If you get the time, I cannot recommend reading it strongly enough.

Ah, I've heard good things of that book but I haven't gotten a hold of it yet. I will need to comb the local used book store for a copy then!

Make sure you find one of the Full Colour versions. "" should be in blue (with one exception), "" and "" in red.

it'll be very difficult to find a used copy as people tend to to keep it once they buy it and it did not have a particularly large print run. it took me about 2 years from the time Damien recommended it to find it used and I've never seen one since.

I don't know if you live near Atlanta, though.
