Work goes well, car goes worse

Made $10.50 in tips. Had a good shift. Didn't feel too tired. Pretty good day.

Car is, in actuality, going to cost at least $300 to fix. The Honda Dealer wants about $580, parts and labour. That's basically them just replacing the whole damned thing.

Still need to pay insurance.

Still need a new battery.

*sigh*

I did some will work, today, some head cleaning and focus. Dragging the world back into allignment, as it were...

Today was my official last day at GSU. It was weird. A little sad. And I didn't get to say so long to all the people I wanted to say it to. ( I know too many people, perhaps. )

Other than that, it was alright. Though I was very tired all afternoon.


On the note of money, though. I always wish I could win the lotto, so that I can give my friends money to make their lives easier. :( Money for medical operations or procedures or hotel bills for out of town hospital stays. Money for car payments. Money for rent. Money for bills that seem to never end. Money for food, so they can eat healthy (read: not starve). The main reason I want to get a job that pays well and keeps me well of is so that I can have the means to help my friends out when things go wrong.

Not so bad... got some work done.

Phaint dropped from Children of Children, a PBP I run. Had to scramble to reassign characters, though we got the legend of "casey's daughter," the worst Bliss Stage: CoC fanfic in the history of the fandom out of it.

Then homework, finishing up Transformation Sequence beta 0.2 (http://lemmasoft.renai.us/forums/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=3791), and hanging out with a girl I like. Not bad at all.
