Con was very strange. Disjointed, frazzled, odd. Didn't get to sit and talk with people as much as I generally like to, but that's because I've begun to feel as if I'mtaking time and table space away from people who could be buying things, and directly supporting the bands I like. Voltaire, [livejournal.com profile] ego_likeness, [livejournal.com profile] ladymerrydeath, [livejournal.com profile] jenniebreeden. I know all of them to varying degrees, and I love seeing them, very much, but I like it when they can eat food, too...

My comics and philosophy panel went pretty well, despite the fact that they didn't get the projector and screen to us until about halfway through my section, which would have been fine, if they'd had the right cord to hook said projector and screet to the laptop. Would've helped. They didn't, though, and then they just kind of... left. So cmy presentation became a bit more of a lecture. But people laughed, and seemed to understand, and it was all good.

I don't want to try to mention everyone I saw, because I saw a lot of you. But Hi, and I'm really glad I saw you. It was a great weekend.

Won a bunch of awesome at the NeedCoffee.com film fest, and saw Widgett, which is always good. Really crazy movies, this year, including a couple of Garth Merenghi things. Very fun.

Yesterday was amazing. Brandy and Doug's wedding was beautiful, and I'm really honoured to have been invited. I saw a bunch of people, there, whom I'd not seen in quite some time. Bridget, Seth, Josh, Jordan, Calvin, Angela, more and more. It was awesome. Dancing, cake, delicious food wonderful time, all in all. It was a gorgeous, involved ceremony, and King Size did all the weeing music. They, too, were amazing.

Last night was [livejournal.com profile] ego_likeness' concert, which had a weird start, but was damn fine, all the way around. [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel and I spent the entire night up in the first three rows, with Voltaire and his girlfriend, Jaime. Made a couple of new acquiantences, in Jo and Leslie, and that was cool. And then there was panel.

Panel Without A Purpose became "Impromptu Gathering of Associates in the Hallway, Without a Purpose." Security came by to say "hey, either get in touch with the director of this track, or you have to leave." It being 2am, at the time, I think you can gather which happened. Plus, with that other thing I said. So we sat in the hall, all 20 of us, drinking Cthulade, telling stories, and [livejournal.com profile] mech_angel sold two shirts, before the night was through. Good times.

We are contemplating something with the NeedCoffee.com crew, for next year, by which I mean "Hey Widge, I need to talk to some people, and then I want to talk to you about stuff for next year."

And that's about all I have the energy for. I am Lé Tired. Again, it was awesome seeing all of you, and I Can, in fact, wait until next year... But not for too long. ;)

Time for Buffy.

I'm always a little leery of having Cthulade travel, without me. I get all protective, because I don't want some random jackass to start trying to act like they invented the shit. It's a form of flattery, they say, but unless I'm there to make them look stupid, it doesn't feel right.
