Dreams are such gossamer things... Made of what seems like strands of light, and dark desires. So many people are afraid to touch their dreams.. Do you think they'll shatter, when you grasp them? Will they fall to their ephemeral riot of colours, when they finally become your reality? Do you think that the stuff of dreams is not able to withstand your "harsh reality?"

I would ask all of you to remember that, though gossamer, and light, darkness and shadow, a Spider's Web is proportionally stronger than steel. Wings that carry things with should not be able to fly, are broken through and dissolved, by water. But that makes them no less amazing. The true question, then, is Which is having a harder time, living up to reality: your Dreams... or You?

Machine Dreams' vertiginous interruptions decrement the counter to zero electric sheep.

The social taboo keeps us from saying three simple words, in public, and freeing ourselves, and each other. If America had a Thrice Spoken Divorce rule, then we would never say it. But, if i were to go up to my significant other, in the street, and say "I Divorce Thee," three times, what would i have accomplished? I'd have made my feelings known. That is all.

My dreams are a world of my design and my choosing. They will always withstand, until I choose to let them go. I hope that you realise how true that is for you...

I love my dreams... there have been times when dreaming was the best thing about the week.

Spectacle?

It seems like dreams are the reverse side of the spectacle coin...spectacle being that concept represented by the Things in Equal Rites, the way a person can be caged by his own convictions, especially if his conviction is that he is caged. Spectacle is meant to psych one out. It has no actual strength, unless it remains unnoticed or trusted. Dream, on the other hand, seems weak...as long as you don't look 'im straight in the eye...
