"Saturday's a festival, Friday's a gem"
Aug. 14th, 2008 11:02 amBookends.
So, this morning, I woke up calming myself from a trip up a Tower of winding stairs, dealing with the woes of people, on each level, until I reached the top, which was the Rugrats (Mark Mothersbaugh conversation, the other day), crawling around the floor among oversized groceries. Which became me making a bacon sandwich of extremely varying composition (eggs, no eggs, cheese, three kinds of cheese, etc.). This turned into a beach party with Aerosmith and Alice Cooper, and a kid's father realising that he was good at throwing parties, and helping him start a promotional company, to do just that. We all (you and me) had fun at the beach party. Al was drinking a beer that was a combination of Stella Artrois and Red Brick.
When I woke up, I calmed myself down, in regards to my interview, tomorrow, and got up and moving.
I got an e-mail, this morning, on the GSU PhilGrad list, about a Job opportunity at Morehouse. So I sent in all of my materials, Again (Because I'm professional, like that.). E-mailed, this time. We'll see how it goes.
Now it's time for coffee and thinking whether it's expected that I'd be looking for jobs more suited to my field, even as I prepare to interview for other positions. And, even so, am I okay with that, in myself?
Book Ends.
