New presentation topic: 'The Limitations and Requirements of Ethical Egoism, as Presented in Mike Carey's Lucifer.'

If not presented at this coming Dragon*Con, then perhaps as a paper, for future conferences.

We'll see how it goes.

Seeing as I have read a lot of the Lucifer books, I assume you're arguing on the point of universal ethical egoism?

Or are you arguing for personal ethical egoism, as the character of Lucifer did always act in his own interest, the rest of creation be damned. (Though I have not caught up since his own universe self-destructed, albeit by sabotage but still.)

Not really arguing for either, but presenting the actions of Lucifer, in the comic, and looking at what is required for him to make those principles completely applicable.
