First of all, I hated MSI's two newest albums.

But that aside, MSI attracts exactly the kind of fans that they make fun of. They have fans like you and I, who are cool people, and then they also attract stupid kids who just don't get it. That's what the shows are always like, filled with stupid kids.

I don't want my DragonCon to be any more filled with stupid kids than it already is.

Part of what I love about DragonCon is that the median age is much higher than that of other cons, so it's a more mature con experience. The stupid kids have already taken over the anime cons, and I really don't want MSI to be their beachhead into DragonCon. =\

Fair enough point, but that build-up began in 200... I want to say 3? When Jhnen Vasquez (a man with a similar problem to that as you mentioned) was there.

Now, if we're very careful and very lucky, we can probably make someone cry, this year, like JV did, that year.

Yeah, sadly the stupid kids have already established a beachhead at DragonCon, but at least it's at a point where I can mostly ignore them.

I just see this as moving in the wrong direction. =(

If was different, but I liked it, and I really liked You'll Rebel to Anything, I just thought it was too short.

I really didn't like those albums. YRTA had potential, but the songs were too long, and there weren't enough of them.

If was just patently bad, IMHO. It's like MSI is trying to sell out and make money. =(

EDIT: Case in point, I heard If playing in Hot Topic.
