wolven7Take one black goat and feed it the hair of the one you love, steadily, over the course of several months.
When you sacrifice the goat on the altar of your devotion, be sure to split the stomach, and remove the stone you'll find, inside.
The bezoar will have a slickness to it, and an iridescent shine, the colour of your true love's hair; remember it.
When you eat the jewel, and it grafts itself to your heart, you may feel a slight tightening, and bit of cold; embrace it.
When your heart is engulfed by the stone, your love's vicissitudes will never harm you; his or her poisons will never sicken you.
But their warmth will never reach you; their joy will never touch you; because you took trust and lost trust and breached trust.
And though your heart is stone, now, and immune to the softer deaths, I have given your love a pick axe, a chisel, and a polishing wheel.
