Man, you and I are just about to disagree on everything today, aren't we? :)

I'm pretty sure that Watchmen is the first thing ever to come out of Hollywood that has offended me to the point that I'm going out of my way to boycott it. Moore wrote the story SPECIFICALLY to be impossible to tell through prose or film - and they're making a movie out of it anyway. I don't care how successful Zack Snyder was in adapting 300, and I don't care if I'm in the minority on this film - I'm not going to see it.

Love and Respect Alan Moore though I do, he is a very cranky man, who doesn't like to see his work re-interpreted in any way, past what he has done with it. I can understand and respect that, to a point, but sometimes things Can be good, in a new light.

Wow. Those are some amazing production values. I have no expectations for the story adaptation b/c this is Hollywood and shite happens, but I am quite impressed at how the costumes have pretty much been left alone and even improved on. I especially love Rorsach came out perfect and the new Ozymandias outfit.
