Yeah, I've seen all of Buffy. By the way, Felicia Day was Vi, in the last season of Buffy, and Felicia in that Cheetos commercial with Patrick Stewart as Chester Cheetah.
It's got several things I love in it. Joss Whedon, Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Mad Scientist Protagonists, and good music.
Joss Whedon has this weird ability to tap into the Zeitgeist, too, and find the right time for the right idea. It means that more people are going to really love him, all at once, but that those who hate him? Tend to REALLY hate him.
Okay, I'll admit that Act II was better than Act I.
When it gets away from stupid blog bits it's better. Because video blogs, no matter who does them, are lame as hell. The two and a half minutes of e-mail responses were seriously dull. Sorry.
It's starting to grow on me with Act II, but if I'd only seen Act I and had just that to go on, I'd be like, "Er... this looks pretty dumb."
No, because I was given the first link in the morning before going to work and didn't have time to watch it, then promptly forgot about it.
I got the second link in the evening and was like, "What is this stupid blog crap?" Because the first 3 and a half minutes were dull replies to e-mails.
Then I saw your link the next day after watching Act I. Or something like that. Point being, I had my adverse reaction before realizing that lots of people apparently love this.
