State and Local elections in GA today, but I don't feel informed enough to make a beneficial difference, or a responsible choice.

Thoughts?

You could research the people and subjects that are being voted on before going to the polls?

Likewise for this election. :-/ I didn't forget. I just.. got distracted.

In the fall, my school is actually off for election day, so no racing home to get to the polls before they close. :-D

Yeah, it's not been saying shite-all to me about people's birthdays, for the last couple of weeks.

:\ You know what you can do to make it up to me? Come over Friday.

Of course, I haven't checked any LiveJournals in over a week, so this is a day late and a dollar short.

That being said, It was ridiculously easy to find the League of Women Voters' candidate guide. I started looking at 3:30 and was ready to head home by 5:30.

There were a handful of candidates who impressed me, including two Republicans and a Libertarian (the majority of candidates running at all are Democrats).

I misunderstood the nature of this poll, and voted for J. Martin for Senate. Done again, I would have voted for R. Knight, because he impressed the heck out of me. Martin was also on my list, but not the top. But I thought it would be a case of Bastard winning because of a divided Democratic vote, so I threw my vote to the (good) person I thought the most likely to get more votes.
