Something over at [livejournal.com profile] moonandserpent Labs made me think about the old adage, I hear getting used a lot, these days

"Whom the gods love, they first drive mad." To make them more receptive, to test them, to put them through their paces, whatever. Fine.

Collective Soul - [The World I Know]--- But it's starting to become the same old "mysterious ways" bullshit, when we just don't know the intricacies of the C/E relationship, yet.

So fine, whom they love, and whatever, but do you know what they do to of whom they are pants-shittingly affraid?

Not a god damn thing.

I dreamed of Hellboy becoming his own father, generating himself through a union with Liz. In the end he became a vision of Dream, in white, with green and black butterfly wings made of lightning. Dreams of composition, really, from my viewing and reading material.

Jack Off Jill - [Surgery]--- But still a good lesson.

That was from about an hour ago. Almost an hour and a half.

I kind of wish they'd back off, just for a little bit, so I could make some sellable art. These huge plans are all well and good, but it's difficult to make a living off of imagery and books about that which a goodly chunk of even the out-there occultists won't touch with a ten-foot stolen cock.

Yeah, but there has to be SOMEONE out there, interested, who can pay. Crazy fuckers exist, everywhere...

Nah, I wouldn't want them to back off. Your art IS you, it's beautiful, and frankly, if I wasn't having some financial difficulties at the moment, I'd snag more of it... I don't even have a ten-foot stolen cock. ;)

Is this why they do it? Kay... I started to think I wasn't receptive enough, so yeah, I'll buy this.
