I know Widgett from my very first Dragon*Con. The phrase "Bring me the head of Joel Schumacher!" came up, while we were all waiting for Neil Gaiman to get to the con.
He and Lloyd Kaufman were talking about something, and somehow the combination of Fozzy Bear and Pulp Fiction came up... And i got up and did the Bat-toosie, and said:
"That's right! It's in your heads, now! If I have to suffer, so do all of you!"
Incidentally, that's the same year I met greygirlbeast.
Then we kept meeting, at con, and hanging out. Then the internet. Then we ran into each other at the Tom Waits concert, in 2006.
