"Vi veri universum vivus vici."

Now go make me a damn sandwich.

Ben Folds Five - [Cigarette]--- Dreamed of trying really hard not to smoke, driving through night-time DC streets, and the actually nice parts of Midtown, rather than the tarted-up glitzy Shit. I got on a school bus, at one point, and Otto was the driver, and the harrowing time we had getting To the bus, the odeal in the building, around the building, slipping in and out oreality, visibility, to avoid being seen. (KMFDM - [Terror]). He told me to sit and have a smoke, in the bus, but there were too many kids around. Didn't want to fuck with their lungs and health. Something about driving, without pants. Driving a British car, too...Bleh...

Saw Tarsem Singh's The Fall, last night, at the Tara. It was brilliant. It was wonderful, and dark, and bright, and archetypal, and reminded me of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, in a number of ways, and of Dreams, and Stories. (Katzenjammer Kabarett - [Broken Dolls]). Beautiful film. I recommend it to any and every one.

It's time for breakfast.

Tom Waits - [Intro 3]--- This week marks the start of me looking after my cousin, during her program.

I don't like the thought of being resposibile for someone else's well-being. I don't like having to be responsible for if she gets there, making sure she gets there On Time, and so on... But it's family, and my aunt--my cousin's mother-- used to sacrafice her weekends, and such, to watch me, so that my mother could go to law school, and work, and such. So, as I am not working, at this time, I might as well do something helpful, and useful, right?

Tom Waits - [Down There by the Train]--- Okay... Winamp is all about Tom Waits, today... What the Hell is that all about...

I really enjoyed the Fall. I even dragged my younger brother to it, and he was pleasantly surprised by it. I may have to watch it a second time. The only bit that bothers me about it is the change in style. It popped me out of the movie. Even though it makes sense why they did that.

I enjoyed them, precisely because of the nature of the story-telling...

I agree, it's a perfect storytelling method for what was going on. It was just so different than the visuals in everything else. And I didn't say I hated it, I just need to process it some more. See how it sits in my head.

Yeah. I want the DVD, most definitely, for that reason
