FEMA failed miserably during that whole deal. This country will be in shit trouble if we ever have to rely on FEMA for anything large scale like that again. I'm honestly surprised that there werent armed uprisings with regards to the way Katrina victims were treated.
This is also why I never believe the conspiracy theories of FEMA taking over the US government. They lack the skills.
