I stole this idea from
jessicamelusine, and then changed it.
'"I don't hear it," Olan whispers, and he hides his face in his pillow and waits for daylight.' - Tales of Pain and Wonder, pg 211, "Rats Live On No Evil Star"
I dramed about being in DC, about finding old frinds and new adoring fans. Riding the Metro, down around the Zoo, and the Zoo was Stone Mountain, and that was something else. Union Station, maybe. Anyway. I was trying to find people, get to my great-aunt's house, riding the wrong trains, trains which had been updated with new lighting systems, and line-indicators. I got off at one of the still funtioning junctions, and got on the correct line, leaving my fans in the train, but I told themm I'd meet them, later. Their train pulled away, but started to reverse, as the doors on mine closed, and the train pulled out of the station.
Prior to that, ther was something about driving around the DC that's much taller in my head than it is in "reality." I drove to that Metro station.
I think that bibliomancy would work better if I still had piles and piles of books, everywhere, shifting, changing, always close to hand.
Today, we're doing a Meme Free-For-All. Just think of me as the mental equivalent of the CDC.
In comments you can: a) interview me with five questions.
b) tell me a secret (screened posting)
c) ask me any question about anything (life the universe, everything, interest lists on bios, etc)
d) tell me what you'd do, if left alone with me, and were free of consequences (short of punching me, repeatedly; I take t hat one as a given.)
e) Indicate that you want t know why i friended you, what animal you remind me of, or whatever.
f) fill in the ____________
Now, obviously, I'd prefer non-screened, non anoynymous posts, but I know that usually doesn't fly. So there you are. I screened them for you. If you're responding to one of the trickier ones, but are okay with it being public, indicate as much.
Believe me, there is a point to all of this. For one thing, we've got a lot of new people, and I'm trying to see how well you all play, together.
For another... Well. That's another, isn't it?

Date: 2008-06-09 05:51 am (UTC)Umm. Ok, I can't think of anything, so the above animal thing is good. And then...surprise me, and answer a question of your choice. The next person should then do something with that question, to make it more interactive. :)

Date: 2008-07-01 07:40 pm (UTC)C# How do I get over her?
C# Where's my snugglebunny, dammit?
... yeah, I know. Typical questions for the sage. I'll skip on the money ones, though.
C# How do I maintain the strength to follow through on these ideas (especially on harnessing my own power) rather than continually going, "Oooh, that's neat!" and forgetting about it in a week or less?
D# Not unlike this, actually; probably devour your tasty brainmeats. Metaphorically, anyways.
D# D&D?
E# I've already asked several, but I'll leave this spot open for if there's anything you specifically want to tell me.
