The Martinis - [Free]--- Sorry about that... my week quickly turned to shit, as we all knew it would have to. I had too good of a weekend, to quickly. (David Bowie - [I Have Not Been to Oxford]). Tuesday was fine, and fairly uneventful, and it was then that i reaslied what was going to happen. And yes, i could have staved it off... I could have avoided everything that would have made me pissed off, but i despise those consequences, more than... Fuck it... the week sucked, ok?

Deadsy - [Key To Gramercy Park]--- Descartes, in Phi Religion, then an uneventful Business Ethics. Then, Yesterday, Descartes, again, in History of western Phi. then i find out some horrible Shite about a friend of mine that affects two other Friends of mine. The latter bits are the most horridly affecting. I hate it when there's.... Once is Chance, Twice is Conspiracy, gods damnit.... And i bet you're wondering why the Descartes thing is bugging me so much, no?

The White Stripes - [Fell In Love With A Girl]--- Well, we were talking about causal proofs, and contingent and necessary existence, and the ideas of god, right? (Bobgoblin - [Pretty In My Uniform]). So, we're talking about the idea that God is the "Greatest Conceivable Being, which was first put forth by St. Anselm, and Descartes is all like, "God is all good, and all wise, and all powerful, and any evil that gets done in the world is the fault of humans, using their unlimited will, to act out side of their limited understanding. So there." Now, when you ask him, "Well, Descartes, To even allow for the potential for evil, mustn't an infinite and all encompassing 'Greatest Conceivable Being' have, at the very least, the potential for the 'Greatest Conceivable Evil?'" (The Adventures Of Jet - [Domino]). To which Descartes answers "Well i've already proven what i've proven, and God is perfect and evil is humans' fault." Basically, he's sticking his fingers in his ears, going "LALALA! I can't HEAR You!" because it does nothing to answer the actual question laid down. I didn't ask whose Fault it was. I asked if God had any Evil in it, and whether it necessarily Has to have said evil, in order to create a world where it can be used. Fucker.

Skinny Puppy - [Morter]--- So that pissed me the hell off... Then i read some Punisher, and felt a little better. Then i got the news about friends A, B, and C. *twitch*

On the upside, i went to the Chamber, last night, and had a pretty damn good time. So that's ok... My main problem, here, is that i don't know what to say to the offending party, or if i should tell the Offended party, who doesn't KNOW it's been offended. (Bobgoblin - [Overthrow]). So, that's the way things stand, here.... I'll find out how things have been with the majority of you, soon. I haven't been online to read your journals, if you have them, so... Sorry....

Other than that, i'm done talking, here. So i'm going to go, i hope to be back, sooner. Like tonight... I start working tomorrow night... Gah! That reminds me.... Shite... Gotta go.

It's a matter of respect, for the offended party, and your relationship to the offending. In my mind, it is a point of honour to offer someone you respect any information pertaining to them that they are missing. Good or bad, it's their shit, and you would do well to tip them off. Who knows what difference it might make to them, or what could have been affected by their lack of knowledge. For me, also, it would be a matter of respect to be honest with the offending party. Ideally, they would be the kind of person who would appreciate your forthcoming honesty and respect you more as a friend because of it. Realistically, they might just get pissed off that you dare disapprove, if you do, and sulk or worse at you. It depends on how you feel about them, which morals you hold, and/or if you are willing to compromise them for the offending party.

very curious to know what's up; these kinds of moral conundrums don't usually vex you so, but not going to press you. will you tell me if i ask in person?

Not to be witholding, but it's no one you know and it's not something about which i'm at at liberty to speak. I feel bad about what little i've said, here.

No, stuff like this doesn't generally bother me, but i'm not directly involved, nor have i been ASKED to become so. So, do i lose two friendships, for the sake of truth and information, and possibly make an Enemy? Or do i let things go, and potentially allow 2 to 3 friends to be hurt, due to ommision, on My Part? Or do i find another way? The answer, as i see it, is the latter. But what IS that other way? Therein lies the difficulty.

If i have to make an enemy, for the sake of truth, then i guess that's the way it will be.

But first, to talk to the offending party.
