I'm putting together a concept album. A soundtrack, really. I need your help with the additions, because I have a few, but I want to know yours.

The title of the soundtrack is "The Soundtrack to the Consumation of Your Polyamourous True Love: Ménage à Trois"

And... GO!

...wha?

"Oh! You Pretty Things" by David Bowie
"Love is a Four Letter Word", preferably by Joan Baez, but Bob Dylan's will work, too.
"Canon" by Pachibel
"The Youg, Crazed Peeling" by The Distillers
"One More Time" and/or "Aerodynamic Love" by Daft Punk

I've mixed salty and sweet, hurt and happy - your call...

"Love Song For A Vampire" Annie Lennox
Any cover version of "God Only Knows" by Brian Wilson/Beach Boys
"Song for Whoever" by Beautiful South
"Jealous Guy" by John Lennon
"Absolute Beginners" by David Bowie
"Blue Monday" by New Order
"Rainy Days and Mondays" by The Carpenters ("funny how it always seems I wind up here with you/ nice to know somebody loves me / funny but it seems like it's the only thing to do/run and find the one who loves me...")
"Two Ladies" from the soundtrack of "Cabaret" (Alan Cummings as the Master of Ceremonies right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48zhgiph9hA the original 60s cast version with Joel Grey is an invocation of madness - tasty!)
"Frank Mills" from any cast soundtrack of "Hair"
"I.W.F (I Wanna Fuck)" by Brother Love Canal (http://www.brotherlovecanal.com)

That's a long list. I might have to do some selection, there.

It's all just for selection - as I said, I mixed sweet and sour, too.

Not sure that "I'm My Own Grandpa" (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/54702/im_my_own_grandpa/) really fits this.

However, "Twiddles" (http://www.janiemeneely.com/Twiddles.html) should definitely be on there. (there's links on ways to buy it up on top of the page.)

There's also probably some appropriate stuff on the soundtrack to "Bandits." (http://www.amazon.com/Bandits-Christopher-Young/dp/B00005Q464/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1210527997&sr=8-1) Then again, maybe not.

Oh..."One is the Lonliest Number"

Nice. "One is the Lonliest Number," goes before "All Mine."

I think the whole thing goes a little obsessive/psychotic, toward the middle/end and then (maybe) comes to a beautiful conclusion.

... How the hell with this group is "All is full of Love" by Bjork not in this list yet?

Also, Sweet Thing, Candidate, and Sweet Thing (reprise) in that order, by Bowie.

You make a damn fine point.

Also, I'm going to end whatever the final list ends up being with "All Mine" by Portishead.

There has to be some Sneaker Pimps. Possibly 'M'Aidez' or 'Blue Movies'.

Also, APC. '3 Libras'.

Qntal, 'Entre Moi Et Mon Ami', though that's probably not at all what it's about. And because no one's said it, 'My Girlfriend's Girlfriend'. Duh. :)

Yeah. Both of those, actually.
