Yeah, but pretty much every movie Marvel's making, at this point, is coming from the Ultimate Universe, at least in large part.
Which is fine, by me, as they have, so far, managed to keep that universe fairly simple, and not complicate it, too much. Things interlock, but there's not always some Major Event happening, and the stories are genuinely good. Ultimate Spider-Man is pretty much a perfect book.
You know, ever since I was a little kid, I never walk out before the end of the credits. My mom was a film student and I'm pretty sure it was her doing. We always, always stay for all the credits, even though most of the time we don't expect anything.
Haha, yeah, I always enjoyed the Thanks section in Dogma. ^_^
Credits are also great fun with a group of people. It gives you time to talk about the movie, figure out what that song was and point at funny names and nick names.
I've always stayed, too, if I liked the movie. I like listening to the music and I actually do read the credits to learn the names of folks who do stuff.
I actually stay for the credits of all movies. I'm pretty sure that the only movies I DIDN'T watch the credits of were Napoleon Dynamite and Van Helsing. And it's kind of a toss up with Van Helsing.
Napoleon Dynamite was one of the few movies I was like, "Can I get my money back for that...?" My friends didn't want to stay and for once I didn't care.
Van Helsin I was a large group that was not so easily persuaded. I don't recall if they let me stay for the credits or were too busy wanting to run off and talk about how terrible a movie it was.
But anyway! Those are the only two I may have missed the credits of in the last, er... 15 years? I don't know. Some huge amount of time. Even at home I watch the credits most of the time.
Sigh. You liked Napoleon Dynamite? You were so cool up till then. :/
Yeah, I didn't like the movie. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous and unfunny, except the dancing scene near the end. It was, literally, the only scene that made me so much as crack a smile. And no, there was not hype-let-down or anything, 'cause I'd never even heard of the movie till the night I saw it. And only heard from my friends taking me there that it was awesome. Oh well.
